This web page is hosted on a IBM machine sitting in the back of my house.  The ADSL is provided through a Commander Pulse PABX. This little unit has ADSL, phone system with 4 keystations and 4 DECT stations, Voice Mail, LCR and custom call routing. Also wireless networking.  It is known outside of Australia as a Sigma, manufactured by Lake Communications of Ireland.

The Server is running Fedora core 7, currently.

Web site management is currently done by Joomla.

It also hosts a wiki, a bbs, and another wiki with our favorite recipes, aptly called recipewiki.

The role of this server is.

1. Web hosting

This web page, wiki's and the bbs. Standard sort of hosting these days.

2. Email

Local domain.

3. Media streaming.

Internal network only, mainly want to see if I can.

4. Backup repository

Backup for the other machines on the network.

Current network contains only Linux and Microsoft machines. I have not replaced my Macs since they got old, but maybe soon, a new Mac to the family.
